NUAMES Parents/Guardians-

Usually, during HOPE WEEK the Hope Squad hosts a parent/student education night where we are able to provide mental health information and resources - but with the COVID-19 large group gathering restrictions, we aren't able to hold this event.  However, we felt that it was important to still provide our NUAMES families with resources and mental health supports.

Davis Behavioral Health - Prevention Resources for Individuals and Families.

During the summer Davis Behavioral Health hosted an "Illumination" Event with Hank Smith and the EveryDay Strong Program, which focused on building strong families through communication and connection.  Juniors/Seniors can receive seminar credit for viewing these video presentations.  Your family can watch these videos at the link:  https://www.dbhutah.org/prevention-resources/

We HOPE that these resources and information will be beneficial for your family.  We know this has been a difficult and challenging year and we are PROUD of our NAUMES students for doing HARD THINGS and responding with such resiliency!

'Do good' december 2020

2020 has been a difficult year in so many ways. We have suffered with uncertainty, anxiety, isolation and challenges with our financial situation, health or relationships. One thing that can hold us together and help us get through is kindness. Although we can't change our situation, we can choose to respond to others (and ourselves) with kindness. And when we're kind, everything goes better. We help others, we help ourselves and we encourage others to be kinder too.
